Lessons
What do I need to take lessons?
A laptop, tablet or phone with internet and the Zoom app. You start every lesson with one click from your portal.
Can I change the days or times later?
Yes. You can change your schedule anytime. A single lesson can be rescheduled up to 6 hours in advance.
What happens on Fridays?
Quran lessons run Saturday to Thursday. Friday is our Deen day: prayer, the Six Kalimas, daily duas and good manners. You can add this class to any plan.
Can I join only the Friday class?
Yes. Just want to learn Namaz (prayer), the Kalimas and duas? Choose 'Friday only' for €17 a month: one 30-minute class every Friday. Children and adults are welcome.
Can my daughter or wife have a female tutor?
Yes. Every female student can choose a female tutor, at no extra cost and at any time of day.
Can parents watch the lessons?
Of course. Parents are always welcome to sit in and receive a report by email every month.
Which language are lessons taught in?
Lessons are explained in English or Dutch. Many tutors also speak Arabic, Turkish or Tamazight.
Pricing and payment
How does the sibling discount work?
The first child pays the normal price. The second child gets 10% off and every child after that 15%, every month.
How do I pay?
Monthly by iDEAL or direct debit. Credit card is also possible.
Am I tied to a contract?
No. You can cancel any month, and you can also pause, for example during the summer holidays.
Is there a registration fee?
No, there is no registration fee and there are no hidden costs.
Student portal
Can my child rewatch a lesson?
Yes. Every lesson is recorded and added to the portal within 1 hour, together with attendance, homework, lesson plan and progress.
Who can see the recordings?
Only the student, the parents and the tutor. We handle your data carefully, in line with the GDPR (AVG).
Does each child get their own account?
Yes. Each child has their own login. As a parent you see all your children in one family account.
Enrolling
How do I enrol?
Fill in the form on the Contact page or send us a WhatsApp message. We reply within an hour to confirm your tutor, lesson days and start date.
How soon can I start?
Usually within a few days. Once we have confirmed your tutor and schedule, your first lesson can start straight away.
When do I pay?
You pay per month in advance by iDEAL or direct debit. There is no registration fee and you can cancel any month.
Can I change my tutor later?
Yes. If you would like a different tutor, just let us know and we will arrange it.
